Din: You park the APC and kill the throttling engine, the silence feels invasive from the sudden rush of gunfight to fleeing with random priests but it is welcome, Looking around the APC you find the arbetes bolt pistol and shock maul along side some other essential food supplies and the long range vox unit, but you cannot shake off the feeling of fear the close you get to the vox unit and feint mutterings that echo in the back of your skull.

Viktoria: The man does not move but finishes his prayers and stands back up with the sign of the Aquila 'My apologies for leaving you, I had other matters to attend to' he gestures to the altar 'well I guess I owe you all an explanation of what is going on and so I shall tell you. It began a number of years ago after the Titus crusade, many died and those who returned were never the same. Even old friends' He jaunts forward as he makes his way to an arming rack, picking up a las rifle and cleaning it with knowledged hands

'But one unit, Unit 1066 a Psyker made unit was hit the hardest from the crusades and all living members were either dead, missing or purged for giving into the daemons that prayed on their pain. bar one. Your target Maximillion Shultz, I and my unit were to purge the man as he grew unstable but we let him go in honour of how he personally saved each of us but now it has led to an even worse set of events. He controls all of the lower levels of the hive and none from the upper levels know because of how the extremist movement has forced a shoot on sight method for the arbetes on all exits and entry's to the lower levels, all in max's plan now he has to only finish off our order and the hive is his to take'

Kog: The sergeant seems to ignore your comment but you still don't trust dem odd mongs.

Joe: Joe surveys the catherdral fort and sees the hidden heavy Stubber emplacements covered in what seems to be trench works drilled into the floor but hidden over by the pews aside from that all of the priests are dead silent and wear their hoods tightly around their faces.

Orion: You look up to see the second level guarded by an overwatching team of sniper priests with the church bell rigged with explosives, they seem to have a good grasp on military strategy and even seem to carry themselves like soldiers too.

Kog goes to stand near Viktoria instead, and listens to the priest, trying his best to understand what he sees as a complex story.

Din grabs the Bolt gun, supplies and Shock Maul. Then he grabs the long range Vox unit and tries to listen in on it.

"So what is your orders plan now?"
thinking it over for a moment she adds:
"And how did you survive for this long in a church no less? Kind of obvious place to attack."
Glad that Kog is nearby, since the Priest is armed now and she's still not absolutly certain about his stance in all of this, Viktoria keeps the Powerfist ready but in a relaxed manner for now.

Orion: You ready yourself for a fight

Din: You listen to the vox unit and hear muffled voices from the other end, whispers that are just barley audible 'were in position around the cathedral, set off the trap when ready' the voice harsh and full of malice

Viktoria: the priest stops cleaning the weapon and looks to her with pain in his eyes 'well you can stay here for the night until your friend here is ready to leave. But to answer the other question. We have been repulsing attacks for weeks now, house to house, street by street we were thousands strong from the old regiments of the crusade, we were here to give something back from what we had done. What we did. Now we are but fifty surrounded by enemy's with no help' he puts down the rifle and looks viktoria dead in the eye 'we know we will never leave this place come next week but you can save our mission' he retrieves a scroll from his robes with the recognisable wax seal of an officer 'take it to Krieg and tell him that it's from his old friend Makrov' a tear falls from the greying eyes of Makrov to be lost in the tangled scruff on his face.

"To Krieg?" Viktoria says, trying the hide the disbelieve in her words,
"This world will be turned into ashes then? The Psyker with it."
She looks at the old man:
"Well Emperor protects... she takes the scroll, motions for Kog to stay close to the Priest and walks outside to the APC to meet with Din, to see if everything is alright outside.

Din quickly gets on the vox link with his squad mates and yells.
"Enemies right on top of you. Get everyone to cover!"
Then he turns up the long range vox unit and says, "Attention Heretic scum! Go frack yourselves!"
He then gets out of the back of the APC after grabbing the long range Vox, gets into the driver seat of the APC and starts the engine

Kog nods dutifully and does as ordered, turning around to the priest and stating at him, a low growl momentarily escaping his butch lips. "You, Mak-rob?" He clearly is unable to successfully pronounce the letter 'v'. "I is Kog. I is Ogryn. Krieg gonna give Kog medal fer killin' bad men. Krieg giv yer a medal fer killin' bad men?"

*Joe obeys Din's order, getting to cover immediately, and yelling about the danger to the other inhabitants of the cathedral*

Kog: Makrov shakes his head to Kog 'we do not get medals Ogryn, to receive honours one must go above service and duty, we merely serve and do our duty'. Kog is then confused as the priest that was is thrown off his feet bleedin evri were, you stumble into cover then it hits you, a piece of shrapnel which don't do much damage but that your under attack as well.

Viktoria: You go to step outside but hear Din over the vox "Enemies right on top of you. Get everyone to cover!", seconds later a las shot strikes your pistol arm leaving a smoking hole and the smell of burning flesh, you dive for cover to avoid the further volley of fire which eat into the surprised priest forces.

Din: The engine starts with a roar, you see the muzzle flares from across the street of the cathedral, emplaced heavy stubbers and auto rifles blast chunks of the church's front away in plumes of powderized stone.

Orion: you dive behind one of the large pillars as a shot tears through a priest that was just behind you, you have no visual on the attackers but see the growing number of bullet holes through the green stained glass panes, one the image of the emperor blown away with heavy weapons fire.

Joe: You get behind a steel crate before the gunfire starts and save a few of the surrounding priests from the gunfire but you see some gunned down mercilessly with hails of las and soild shots.

*shouts to anyone in ear shot*
Has anyone got eyes on the shooters? How many men did we lose in the opening volley?

Kog roars out, smashing his Ripper Gun upon the Slab Shield in a tribal display of power. Raising it in front of him, he runs toward the source of the gunfire, with the intent to crush. Hopefully anyone in the way will move, unless they're the enemy. "FUKKIN' BAD MEN GONNA DIE!"

"Can you get out of there?" Din asks the unit as he rides the APC out of the parking lot, flanking the heavy Stub gunners, and accelerates the APC at top speed in an attempt to run over the fixed Stub guns from their vulnerable flank.

"the only surprise about this, is that it has not happened earlier." Viktoria whispers silently, putting her hand in her pocket and calculating if she could make the dash torwards the vehicle, where she would be in more relative safety.
Cracking the Powerfist alive she makes ready to charge with a hymn of battle on her lips.

Joe: (turn passes) Joe sits in cover

Viktoria: Runs outside (10+0 luck) to be pinned in the door way with the cover of the heavy wooden door slowly chipping away with the heavy las fire, but looking forward you see Makrov with a bullet wound bleeding profusely from his chest, carrying a heavy stubber he strides through the door way with pain and repentance on his lips firing the weapon off into the under hive of corruption. (the wounded arm is the other, sorry for not explaining it properly)

Orion: A priest points outside a broken window to where you can see muzzle flashing from a run down hab block from across the road, in centre of walkway where the gunfire is heaviest you see a missile launcher clutched in the hands of a dead priest.  

Din: The gunner teams flee seeing the tank charging straight for them, leaving their heavy stubbers to be crushed under the treads of the tank which silences the heavy weapon fire on the cathedral  

Kog: You run outside past Viktoria and Mac-rov who is cover and see a group of cultists who were crossing the street see you and fire their auto rifles which miss you, pining off you shield (3 rolled: cultists) you pull up your ripper gun and unleash a hail of shells into the small group (18- 3:ogryn trait -3 not made to aim = 12) the shots kill a few and wound the rest which scamper off into the darkness but the gunfight still rages on.

Wherever the foe may be, Kog makes an effort of getting there, reloading his Ripper Gun on the way and readying his shied in case of emergency face-smashing.

Ah f*ck it. Life's boring if you don't nearly die everyday anyway.
*runs outside to the missile launcher, attempting to grab it and get to cover.*

*Joe gets to a better position, to try to get to a better firing position and get a better view of the combat.*

"Arite, I'll ask again. Do any of you need pick up?"
Din says as he examines the battlefield, and trying to figure out where his allies and enemies are.

Groaning that the Ogryn and the Priest are heroically selfless while she is pinned like a Blood Raven, she charges out, hoping she can still smash some heads, keeping her fist before her face to avoid a simple headshot she charges.
Most likely anyways, all rifles will be pointed at Kog and she'll be able to turn some brains into powdery goo, all across the street. Singing to drive herself past her self-preservation instincts:

Joe: You prop yourself up onto of a box and start firing widely out the window at the building where resistance is toughest (12+1 accuracy+3 luck)=16 You see a blood splatter errupt behind the cover but no more than that from the cacophagy of the priest defence.

Din: You see Kog, Makrov and Viktoria making a mad rush out of the door into the gunfire.

Orion: you run out into the gunfire (15) and survive with not a wound, taking the missile launcher in hand you aim at the hab block and fire (2+1=3) you hit the side of the building and open it up to the defenders but miss the cultists inside, their is another spare missile strapped to the side of the weapon though.

Viktoria: You run out into the open under much lighter fire due to Kog and Makrov and make it through the gunfire un molested, you see the last of the attacks all fortified in the old hab building which is riddled with varying sizes of holes and burns, your off handed arm is still wounded but sealed by the las bolt burn

Kog: You see the group in the building and shootz at dem with da Rippa! (18-6=12) you hear screaming from inside as your shots wound and tear the flesh of dem bad unz der shootin bak but your bashy door takes it all.

Kog follows Viktoria into the fray, empowered by the Zeal of the small human, and knowing that there'll be things to kill wherever she's heading.
