Seeing both of his peers out-shoot him does little to shift Knispel's confidence as he twists the turret, aims for the next closest target, and fires.

"Nice job", Leonardo says to both the tank and the loader.
With a small smile on his face, and encouraged by his previous hit, He then takes aim at the middle target and fires.

Oktober wastes no time, aligns the turret with the closest target, checks again, realigns if necessary, then fires.
This time, when checking whether the target has been hit, Oktober takes a moment to say: "I want to keep this Loader is possible, this man deserves a promotion."

Knispel:
(Roll: 4 (+1 marksmanship, -1 range)) 4
You're actions are greeted with a click and a hiss from the gun.
"Miss fire, miss fire, miss fire."
You're loader calls. Upon hearing this sergeant Temp runs over.
"Corporal Knispel don't touch the controls, loader clear the breach."
Your loader works quickly to remove the offending shell and pass it up to Sergeant Temp before loading a new round.
"You may continue firing corporal."

Leonardo:
(Roll: 7 (+8 marksmanship, -1 range)) 14
"Thanks Corp" replies your loader.
Your shot hits the target on the left side, a solid hit. The loader has a shell in the breach with his usual swiftness.

Oktober:
(Roll: 16 (no modifiers)) 16
Your shot hits the target just below centre. The loader has the gun ready with his usual swiftness before responding.
"No chance of that I'm afraid Corp we're on the CO's crew, he lent us to the sarge for training. Over there" he gestures to Leonardos tank. "Is lieutenant Hastings crew and the other tank has the sarges own crew."
Sergeant Temp heads over.
"Good shooting corporal, three shots, three hits. I call that a success."

[Apothecary Meros]

"Bloody tank." Knispel grumbles, his patience now starting to run thin. He has another go at the middle target.

[Muffin Heretic]

"The Loader and the Tank did the work, I just did the looking."

[senera2000]

"Alright. Just one more to go." Leonardo says as he aims the turrent at the last and farthest target.
He then takes a deep breath to calm his excitement and fires.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
(Roll: 1 (+1 marksmanship, -1 range)) 1 (oh fuck)
You here a loud bang from the gun followed by a blinding light and darkness.
(Roll for survival: 19 (no modifiers)) 19
You are unconscious for now.

Leonardo:
(Roll: 1 (+8 marksmanship, -2 range)) 7
The shell goes flying wide missing the target by about a metre. As the loader slams another shell into the breach you hear a loud bang from outside.

Oktober:
"Alright corporal time to give someone else a go-"
Sergeant Temp is cut off by a loud bang and a shock wave throwing him off the tank.

Knispel busies himself by being unconscious.

[Muffin Heretic]

"Guess the Loaders are better than the Shells." Oktober mumbles to himself while jumping off his tank and checking to make sure that Sergeant Tank didn't hit his head while falling off the tank.

[senera2000]

"Tch. We got 2 more rounds. Let's try this again."
Leonardo says as he readjusts his aim and fires at the target again.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
(Roll: 18 (+1 toughness, +1 luck)) 20
You wake up to see your loader and driver pulling you out the turret, miraculously you are uninjured save a few burns and a minor head injury. The driver is unharmed but your loader has burns across his left arm. To the side you see medics and a few other guardsmen rushing over with firefighting equipment.

Leonardo:
(Roll: 14 (+8 marksmanship, -2 range)) 20
Your shot flies true and smashes the target apart, a direct hit. The tank lurches backwards as the driver puts it into reverse.
"Sorry corporal fund over, we've been order back. One of the other tanks has had a shell go off in the breach.

Oktober:
(Roll for sergeant Temp: 20 (+3 toughness)) 23
The sergeant is not only uninjured but landed on his feet and is already running towards one of the other tanks. You can see smoke coming out of one of the hatches and two men dragging a limp figure from the turret.

[Apothecary Meros]

"I should've stuck with Chimeras." Knispel murmers, recovering from his brief loss of consciousness.

[senera2000]

"No problem. We got the 3 targets." Leonardo says lightly patting the gun in a congratulatory manner.
"Nice job guys. Also, is anyone hurt by the explosion?" Leonardo says, slightly concerned about which of his comrades got caught in the explosion.

[Muffin Heretic]

Oktober makes his way over to the smoking tank to see if a helping hand is needed. Not that he'd know much about medicine but he can help carry if necessary.
He will however make sure not to stand in anyone's way and thus, unless clearly beeing needed, standing a few meters away.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
You come perilously close to falling off the tank as something akin to a box of spare parts wrapped up in a red cloak pushes your crew out the way and starts fussing over the tanks damaged interior.
"Come on corporal we need to get that head wound of yours looked at. If we're lucky we'll find some hot nurses as well."
You're loader seems to like this idea and helps the driver get you on your feet back at ground level. You notice he's started acting more injured than before, unfortunately his acting isn't brilliant.

Leonardo:
"We don't know yet corporal, we've just been ordered away and I can see bugger all out this periscope."
With that the driver brings the tank to a halt again and powers done the engine.

Oktober:
Sergeant Temp is in discussion with one of the medics when he turns to you and says "follow me" before starting to round up the other corporals.

[senera2000]

"I guess we'll find out soon enough," Leonardo says as he gets out of the tank and takes a look around.

[Apothecary Meros]

"Bloody cogboy." He grunts, as the red cloak gets in the way. But, at the mention of nurses, Knispel's mood seems to improve. "Really? I like the sound of that."

[Muffin Heretic]

Oktober follows swiftly and wordlessly.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
After a quick examination by a medic you and your crew are led to the regiments infirmary. Much to your crews disappointment as it is manned by your regiment, who are all male.
"Damn it corporal if you'd just hit your head a little harder we could be with the navy nurses now."
Comments your loader.

Leonardo:
You open the hatch to see the less than welcome sight of sergeant Temp glowering down at you.
"Move along corporal, hop out the tank and join the others back by the board and we may even salvage something out of this."

Oktober:
After rounding up a few of the other corporals sergeant Temp sends you back over to the board where you started the lesson. This could be an opportunity to introduce yourself to the other corporals.

[Apothecary Meros]

"I'll save the serious injury for when we're in the field." He smirks as a thought comes to him. "We might get to meet some of those Hospitallers in the Sisters of Battle."

[Muffin Heretic]

Oktober takes the opportunity, but instead of straight out going forward to anyone right away, he tries to make eye contact with everyone, greet them friendly and then, depending on how friendly they greeted back, he'll approach one of them.

[senera2000]

"Yes, sir", Leonardo replies to the Sergeant with a shit eating grin, though is very disappointed that the sarge didn't get to see him show off his skills.
Leonardo bends down into the hatch of the tank and waves at the crew. "Nice meeting you. See you guys later".
Then, he gets off the tank after patting the tank and saying "You too."
Afterwards, Leonardo joins the others back by the board while looking around and trying to figure what happened on the way.

Knispel:
Your loader responds with a wry smile:
"You might corporal but we'll still be with sergeant Temp. No chance of seeing so much as a combat medic, let alone a sister hospitaller. I haven't seen anything that can so much as scratch Temp and we've faced heretic astartes."

Leonardo:
You join Cpl Oktober and four other corporals at the board whilst the sergeant rounds up the others. You have a little while to get to know the other corporals.

Oktober:
One of the other corporals notices you and introduces himself as corporal Leander and offers his hand.

"I imagine his tank doesn't blow itself up very often then." Is all Knispel can think to say.
