"Elated to make your aquaintance, Corporal" Oktober says with a wide smile,
"I'm Corporal Oktober, new here. How long have you been arround?"

Leonardo takes a look at the other Corporals and attempts to analyze their demeanor.
He then gives them a polite nod and takes the nearest seat and leans on it lazily. If a seat is not present, he will just lazily lean on a wall with his hands in his pockets.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
As you talk the medics finish dressing your injuries and apparently happy that you'll be fine send you and your crew back to training. In the meantime your loader smiles and replies.
"Well there was that one time on Arrellen Prime when we were fighting some minor xenos incursion..."

Leonardo:
Most of the other corporals seem a little nervous and mostly keep to themselves. Understandable really, given that they just watched one of the machines they are supposed to trust their lives to explode in front of them.
You notice however that too corporals seem less effected by the ordeal and are talking to each other, one of them you have seen before in the corridor; talking to the unfortunate corporal who just recently found out what the inside of a fireball looks like.

Oktober:
"A pleasure to meet you, I've been in the 6th for awhile. I was the driver of 'Old Formy', thats corporal Argus' command; from A Company, until I got promoted and now I'm here. What about you, how'd you end up here." He replies with a grin.

[Apothecary Meros]

"Do go on." Knispel replies to the loader, a sly smirk appearing.

[Muffin Heretic]

"The Pleasure is all mine, thank you and really... just enrolled and did basic training, nothing much more."

Leonardo closes his eyes and tries to get some rest. Might as well catch up on the sleep which was interrupted when he was called for training.

[Norabder]

Knispel:
"Well this was back when we had old 'lusty' and when I was just a sponson gunner. We engaged a squadron of xenos light tanks along with the rest of our own squadron, we had an HE shell down the pipe of course. The xenos breeds dont seem to be big fans of armour, so we fire away only for the bloody shell to go off in the breach. Now that's bad enough on its own but the fireball touched off the rest of the ammo and blew the turret clean off.

I survived with mild burns, protected as I was by the sponson. The other sponson gunner lost his left arm and our driver here *gestures at your driver*, the lucky bastard, got thrown out the tank and landed in a trench with some buggers from the 2nd.
Temp on the other hand, well we found him fifteen metres away; standing on the upturned turret. He didn't have a scratch on him, he even had the cheek to ask why we had stopped. We never found enough of the gunner or loader to bury of course."

Leonardo:
*sleeps for now*

Oktober:
"So do you have any idea what you'd like to be given to command? Personally I'd love a Punisher, something about the prospect of xenos soup appeals to me."

[Apothecary Meros]

Chuckling at the tale, Knispel tries to recall some of his own stories, but realises that he doesn't really have any.

"I wish I could tell you of my own misadventures, but I'm afraid being blown up by my first Leman Russ is my only one. Don't ever become a Chimera driver, all it means is you'll have a squad of infantrymen - or worse, the company commander - sat in the back complaining about the ride."

*Continues sleeping*

[Muffin Heretic]

"To be honest, I would like to find out what suits my skills best. I havn't tried many different Tanks, perhaps a personal favorite is still coming along the line.
Personally, I wouldn't mind a very aggressive styled Tank, rather than a long ranged, more stationary one, simply because I am old and I'd rather sacrifice my own life than that of the young and promising men I see around me each day."

[Norabder]

Knispel:
"You're right there, I wouldn't want to drive the CO's tank, at least with a chimera he might get out."
*with that you enter the hangar and split ways with your crew. You see most the other corporals by the board whilst sergeant Temp heads towards them with the remaining corporals in tow.

Leonardo:
*sleeps*
(You can choose to wake up or wait to be woken up)

Oktober:
"A fair point, although it sounds like you're looking for a Demolisher or similar. Maybe even a hell hound if you're lucky."
Out of the corner of your eye you see sergeant Temp heading towards you with a few corporals and on the other side of the hangar the corporal you spoke with in the corridor walks in.

[Muffin Heretic]

"I'd be happy to be that lucky."
Oktober turns around on the chance that the Sergeant is coming for him.
As to not be rude, he makes a friendly goodbye-wave gesture to the Corporal he was talking to.

Knispel leisurely strides up to the assembled Corporals and takes his spot within the crowd.

Leonardo continues sleeping with a happy look on his face.

[Norabder]

Everyone:
"Right now that we've got our nice exploding tank incident out the way to wake everyone up we should all be alert and ready fo-"
Sergeant Temp notices Leonardo asleep in a chair and throws a board rubber at him.
(Roll: 20 (+5 marksmanship)) 25
The rubber bounces off Leonardos forehead and is neatly caught by sergeant Temp.
(Leonardo is now awake)
"Let's continue now shall we. So unfortunately whilst our red robed friends check over the tanks and ammunition as well as calming the machine spirits we will have to postpone the rest of our shooting phase. I'm the meantime we will move onto the role of the driver. Has anyone got any questions so far?"

[senera2000]

Leonardo gets up and stands in attention instantly, causing the chair that he is on to fall down. After realizing that being in attention was not required he stands at ease after rubbing his forehead for a bit which is still stinging from the rubber.
He then continues to stand at ease.
After a few seconds, after the Sergeant asks the question, Leonardo asks "Is it anything like driving an armored Car Sergeant?"

"If I may be so bold, sir" Knispel begins, "may I have a tank that won't explode?"

[Muffin Heretic]

Oktober looks at the two others and asks himself, what in the Emperors Name he's gotten himself into here.
No questions from him.
He figures he'll figure out which pedal starts the engine eventually once he tries.

[Norabder]

Everyone:
Sergeant Temp smiles at knispel's question; "I can make no promises corporal but I would be impressed if you can blow up a tank without touching the gun or ammo...
Don't take that as a challenge."
The sergeant then looks over at Leonardo.
"The control scheme will be a little different from what your used to. Like an armoured car you have an accelerator pedal, instead of a clutch you have a gear pedal, push down with your toes to go up a gear and down with your heel to go down a gear.

The steering controls are completely different to an armoured car, you steer with two levers, one controls each track. You pull the levers back to stop the track and push them forward to go forwards. So to turn right you pull the right lever back. Any questions, queries or quibbles?"

[senera2000]

"No Sergeant", Leonardo replies looking forward to drive a tank.

[Apothecary Meros]

"None here, sir." Knispel replies, cracking his knuckles in anticipation.

[Muffin Heretic]

"I'm good."

[Norabder]

Everyone:
Whilst the tech priests work on the damaged tank a spare is brought into the hangar and the other corporals all put the vehicle through its paces On the course.

Eventually your turn comes around and you are directed to the drivers hatches of your respective vehicles, the tanks contain only one other crew member, another corporal; although clearly more experienced than yourself, in the commanders position.

Leonardo gets in his tank and familiarizes himself with the controls and then looks at the senior Corporal.
"So.. Corporal. What are we supposed to do now?"

"Good day." Knispel nods to the other Corporal as he seats himself. "What would you have me do?"
